Stopped in this local restaurant on New Years Eve for dinner. They were busy as most restaurants are on NYE. They had a small table for 4 in the center of the crowded room and two tables for 8 open on the perimeter of the room. My family of 4 asked to sit at one of the tables for 8, and the owner/waitress declined. The tables were not reserved, they simply wanted to save them for larger parties. So we left and went to another local restaurant. It was unfortunate because we have wanted to try this restaurant for a while, and we enjoy dining out often. When I attempted to discuss this incident by commenting on one of their Facebook posts, the owner stood behind her decision, which is fine, but then she deleted the comments and blocked me from their FB page. Nothing derogatory was stated for the comments to be removed. I'm guessing she was embarrassed. But it also solidifies my decision not to return to Castaways.

This is the place to go for a good steak.

Great place with wonderful service. There are lots of food options from burgers and pizzas to steak. Lighter options like soup and salad.
